The Contemporary Gallery
The purpose of this gallery is to showcase contemporary artists who notate their musical thoughts and ideas by hand. This aspect of classical music is rarely given a platform and will most likely fall from use over time as digital technology becomes increasingly popular. Additional artists and their scores will be included over time.
A Note from the Author:
”I would like to offer heartfelt thanks to the artists who have so generously contributed their handmade annotations to this project. They are among the most notable musicians, vocalists, composers and conductors working in classical music today.” – Susanna Briselli
